Mission of LDC United Eclipse is to provide an enjoyable training and playing atmosphere, while increasing and maximizing the players potential to achieve. To teach the values of the three (D)'s: Discipline, Desire, and Dedication, all while having fun.
Established in June of 2001, the team began play in CPYSL as a U11 team. The team was formed by two (2) U10 travel teams within the club coming together to form an LDC United team. In taking this step, the club and team hired a profession coach to lead and teach them. As the team began training, they began to set goals for themselves as individuals and as a team. They focused on basic fundamentals and techniques in the beginning and then increased to more advanced technical and tactical situations. Complimenting their hard work, the team became a cohesive group of young ladies that enjoyed their early successes. The teams coach focuses his efforts on the advancement of the group by playing in high quality tournaments and leagues.
The Eclipse team travels all over to play the best the sport has to offer. Since June of 2001, the team has seen tremendous improvement and support. Currently the team is host to 11 CPYSL Select players and 3 EPYSA ODP pool players. Player development is held at the highest of priorities for the coaching staff of the LDC United Eclipse and the LDC United Club.
